It is used in an acidic environment to soften fur skins. It gently loosens the skin structure, makes it softer and fuller, improves elasticity, which contributes to better penetration of tanning agents and promotes more uni-form colouring. The company Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC (Russia) has carried out trials of recipes for fur sheepskin production using the fat liquor "SMH 470V". The result is positive. The hair is clean and crumbly after ironing. The leather tissue is soft and elastic, the skin is light, draped. Work has also been carried out on dyeing the fur lining with acid dyes sold by the company Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC (Russia). The tests were successful. Uniform dyeing in hair height and area has been achieved, colours have been worked out.
