Specialists from Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC (Russia) attended the 20th general industry exhibition of the textile and light industries “INTERFABRIC-2026. Autumn”, which is taking place from September 29 to October 1, 2026, at the Moscow International Exhibition Centre “Crocus Expo”. The exhibition’s space brought together more than 300 companies from 15 countries (Russia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Vietnam, India, Iran, Italy, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and South Korea). The business program is structured as a project laboratory with a focus on developing the fashion industry, localizing creative competencies, and creating a sustainable industry ecosystem....

In the second half of September 2026, a joint technological visit was conducted by Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC (Russia) together with representatives of the company Dowell (China) to tanneries of the Republic of Belarus. During meetings with tannery managers and technicians, presentations of the 2007/2008 Trend book were held, and shoe and leather goods articles using chemicals from Dowell were demonstrated. The catalogue aroused interest among the partners; the focus was on shoe articles with improved grade, white article, as well as leather goods and furniture articles. Presentations were also held featuring chemicals for improving grade and new chemicals for finishing. Recipes and chemicals were noted for future orders....

Testing “Dowell” acrylic impregnation agents for the article with impregnation.

“Dowell” acrylic impregnation agents have been tested in the article with impregnation at one of the Russian tanneries. A combination of three products was tried:

«Dowellic RA 1861» - ultra-fine acrylic resin with good penetrating ability, especially for impregnation of leather, which keep softness and tightness of the leather without forming a film on the grain; easy to buff. In combination with «Dowellic RA1863» or «Dowellic RA1865», the impregnation efficiency is improved and the tendency to looseness in loose areas is eliminated;
«Dowellic RA 1863» - very fine-dispersed acrylic resin with good penetrating ability for impregnation of corrected grain leather, which ensures good leather characteristics after impregnation; makes the grain tight. In combination with «Dowellic RA1861», it effectively solves the problem of looseness and keeps its softness. It is recommended for use in the base coat as an adhesion component in the finishing of garment, furniture articles, and soft nappa leather;
«Dowellic RA 1865» - fine-dispersed acrylic resin with good permeability for impregnation of corrected grain leather, which forms a colourless, transparent, soft film slightly sticky to the touch. It provides tightness, fullness, easy buffing after impregnation.

Impregnation was used to prevent and eliminate leather looseness for shoe tight articles. The result of the trials is positive. Chemicals have been ordered for extended trials.
