In the second half of July 2016, specialists from Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC (Russia) conducted a technological visit to test finishing recipes for shoe articles: “Leather for work shoes with embossing”; “Leather for work shoes with haircell embossing and impregnation”; “Split leather with embossing”. Chemicals from Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC (Russia) and the company Dowell (China) were used in the recipes. Acrylates for impregnation “P-52” and “P-74” were used in the impregnation composition, as well as a penetration agent “PP-22”. “Ecofiller” was used as a preground for corrected grain leather and embossed split leather. For corrected grain leathers with haircell embossing, covering and sealing chemicals “RC 3215” and “RC 3515” were used. Compounds “UK‑31” and “KS 3345” were used in the basecoat. Nitrocellulose water-based lacquer “LW 2000” was used for top-coating. The tested articles received a positive assessment from the tannery managers. Chemicals for extended trials were ordered.
