A soaking-liming-tanning recipe has been tested. The recipe was tested on calf hides, weighing 22-25 kg and bovine hides, weighing 30-40 kg. The following Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC chemicals were used in the recipe: • «SN-22S» — a wetting-degreasing agent; • «SN-OV» — an agent for improving watering; • «Vega-Е-93» — an agent for pelt deliming; • «Fermentol 23» — an enzyme containing agent for soaking; • «Fermentol RSTP» — a bating agent; • «Vega RLM, Vega RLT» — an anti-wrinkle agent; • «Bazamin» — an agent for increasing the basicity of a chrome tanning agent. The specialists of Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC have conducted a technological visit to the tannery in order to test dyeing-fatliquoring recipes. Recipes of obtaining the following articles have been tested: "Shoe Nappa", "Garment leather", "Split" using chemicals from Shebekinskaya industrialnayakhimiya, LLC (Russia) and Dowell (China):

Nappa is obtained using a combination of acrylates: "Dowelltan RS-16" and "Dowelltan RE-17". «Dowelltan RS-16» is an acrylic acid—based retanning agent that makes the leather soft and light. «Dowelltan RE-17» — a retanning agent based on acrylic resin, gives fullness, softness, provides high elasticity, excellent light and heat resistance, improves the leather ability to buffing. As a result, the obtained crust looks good, elastic, without looseness, and after milling, there is also slight uniform grain.
The government leather is obtained using a polymer «Dowellmeta MF». «Dowellmeta MF» is a multifunctional polymer filling retanning agent, which has retanning and greasing properties, gives the leather exceptional softness and lightness, which is suitable for the production of light articles, partially or completely replaces retanning agents and fat liquors, greatly facilitating the leather production process, effectively improves the values of physic-mechanical parameters of the leather. Due to its excellent light and heat resistance, it can be used for fatliquoring light and white leathers. As a result, the obtained crust looks soft, light enough, and milled very quickly. The customer liked touch of the finished article. The customer plans to sew a men's jacket from the obtained article in his own sewing production and evaluate the properties of the leather in the finished product.
In the recipe of the article "Split for finishing", Evrosintan VA, manufactured by Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC (Russia), was used to solve the problem of obtaining tighter leather. “Evrosintan VA” is an auxiliary agent for impregnation of suede leather and split in a drum. The product strengthens the fibrous structure of the split; improves the ability to buffing and ensures obtaining short hair; helps to obtain smooth surface. The article is positively evaluated.
