Import substitution: trials of wet-blue recipes.

     Specialists of Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC within the framework of the import substitution program, tested recipes of producing wet-blue from calf hides, weighing 21-26 kg and from bovine hides, weighing 26-30 kg using chemicals of Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC:

• "SN-22S" is a universal high—effective detergent and degreasing agent designed for degreasing heavy cattle hides;
• "SN-OV" — a soaking accelerator that meets the requirements of the REACH regulation;
• “Vega RLT” — an agent for preventing wrinkles, anti-wrinkle agent for heavy hides;
• "Fermentol 23" is a complex enzyme agent for soaking, providing uniform watering and distribution of alkalinity, readiness for epilation, splitting and accelerating the removal of fiber-to-fiber proteins.

     The evaluation of the obtained wet-blue was carried out in the presence of tannery managers.  The obtained wet-blue was evaluated positively. The chemicals and recipes used were taken into account. Extended trials of these chemicals are planned.
