“Dowell” acrylic impregnation agents have been tested in the article with impregnation at one of the Russian tanneries. A combination of three products was tried: • «Dowellic RA 1861» - ultra-fine acrylic resin with good penetrating ability, especially for impregnation of leather, which keep softness and tightness of the leather without forming a film on the grain; easy to buff. In an experimental shop at one of the Belarus tanneries, a recipe has been tested for obtaining the article "Shoe Crust" in thickness of 2.0 - 2.2 mm using “Dowell” chemicals (China): • «DOWELLTAN RV13» - a retanning agent based on acrylic resin. In chrome tanning «DOWELLTAN RV13» significantly improves fullness and density of grain and reduces stickiness, has an excellent dispersing effect and accelerates the penetration of vegetable tannins.
