On November 19-21, 2025, the IV International Forum of Light Industry "Commonwealth of Fashion", an international cultural and economic project bringing together representatives of the light industry and fashion business of the CIS countries, relevant ministries and departments, and educational institutions of the Commonwealth countries, took place at the Tavrichesky Palace in St. Petersburg. This project focuses on the issues of positioning and promoting national brands, improving the tools for solving urgent problems of the light industry at the legislative level and in life. Within the framework of this forum, organized by the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Tanners and Shoe Manufacturers held a round table on the topic: "Technological sovereignty of the leather and shoe industries is a guarantee of ensuring the national security of the country "with the participation of representatives of the leadership of the FederationCouncil, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Bellegprom Concern, Roskachestvo, the Public Chamber, Rospotrebnadzor and other organizations. The management of Shebekinskaya industrialnaya khimiya, LLC annually takes an active part in this event, the round table, and panel discussions.
